MiniMax H3 Video Generator with Sound Built In

MiniMax H3 turns a written idea, one or two key frames, or a small set of reference images into a clip of 4 to 15 seconds that arrives with its own stereo soundtrack. Pick a start mode in the generator below, describe what the viewer should see and hear, choose 768P or 2K, and check the credit cost on the Generate button before you commit.

Three ways in, one soundtrack out

Most of the control in MiniMax H3 comes from how you start a clip. Each mode suits a different kind of job, and every one of them returns video with audio.

From sign-in to a finished clip

Everything below happens on this page, in your browser, with nothing to install. This order tends to waste the fewest attempts.

  1. Sign in

Sign in to Sonata AI with Google or an email address. Generations are paid with Sonata AI credits, so look at your balance first, and choose a plan if it will not cover the clip you have in mind, especially a long one in 2K.

  2. Pick a start mode

Choose text if all you have is an idea, frames if a particular picture must open or close the clip, or references if you want up to five images to guide a character, product or place. Frame mode needs at least one of its two images.

  3. Write picture and sound together

Describe the subject, the action, the setting and the camera, then add the audio: who speaks and what they say, what music plays, which effects should be heard. The box takes up to 5,000 characters, but a focused paragraph is easier to control.

  4. Set length, resolution and shape

Choose a duration between 4 and 15 seconds and either 768P or 2K. In text and reference modes, pick an aspect ratio; reference mode adds adaptive to the list. In frame mode the shape comes from your image. Keep an eye on the credit figure as you adjust.

  5. Generate

Press Generate once the cost on the button looks right; that number is what the clip will use. If the generation fails for any reason, the credits go back to your balance automatically, so a failed attempt leaves your balance where it was.

  6. Review it in History

Finished videos are saved in the History tab, which keeps every take in one place for comparison. Play each clip with the sound on before you plan the next attempt, because the audio is half of what this model gives you.

MiniMax H3 questions

Practical answers about start modes, sound, settings and credits on Sonata AI.

01

Which start mode should I use?

Use text when you are exploring an idea and have no images yet. Use frame mode when a specific picture must open the clip, close it, or both. Use reference mode when a character, product or place should guide the result while the action stays open. When in doubt, sketch the idea in text first.

02

Can I upload only a last frame?

Yes. Frame mode needs at least one image, and it can be the first frame, the last frame or both. A last frame by itself is useful when you know exactly how the shot should end but are happy to let the model decide how it gets there.

03

Why is there no aspect ratio option when I use frames?

In frame mode the output takes its shape from the image you upload, so there is nothing to choose. Crop the picture to the ratio you need before uploading it. Text mode offers six ratios, and reference mode adds an adaptive option to the same list.

04

Can I turn the sound off?

No. Every clip is generated with a stereo audio track, and it cannot be disabled. You can mute or replace it in any editor afterwards, or ask for quiet ambience in the prompt. If you need a switch for silent output, Wan 3.0 has one.

05

Should I choose 768P or 2K?

768P is the practical choice for drafts, previews and posts that will mostly be watched on phones. Pick 2K for the version you deliver, show on a large screen or cut into a high-resolution edit. The Generate button shows the cost of each, so compare before you decide.

06

How is the credit cost worked out?

The cost changes with the duration and resolution you select and updates live as you adjust them. The exact figure appears on the Generate button before you submit. Prices can change over time, which is why this page does not quote fixed numbers.

07

What happens if a generation fails?

The credits for that attempt are returned to your balance automatically. Before trying again, check the inputs: frame mode needs at least one frame, reference mode takes no more than five images, and the prompt is capped at 5,000 characters. If those are fine, reword the prompt or try another image.

08

How long can a clip and a prompt be?

Clips run from 4 to 15 seconds in whole-second steps. The prompt box accepts up to 5,000 characters, which leaves plenty of room for a detailed scene with dialogue and sound notes. Longer is not automatically better, so cut anything that does not change the result.

09

Where do I find my finished videos?

Every completed video is saved in the History tab of the generator, so earlier takes stay together and you can compare versions side by side before choosing the one to keep or render again in 2K.

10

Do I need a separate MiniMax account?

No. You sign in to Sonata AI with Google or email and pay with Sonata AI credits. That one account is all the generator on this page needs: sign in, check the cost on the Generate button and start.

11

Is Sonata AI affiliated with MiniMax?

No. Sonata AI is an independent platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by MiniMax. MiniMax H3 is a trademark of its owner and is named here only to describe the model you can use on this page.
